Brief
SETU is a Fair Trade nonprofit working with
marginalized artisan communities across India.
They focus on multiple areas of holistic
socio-economic development, including
women's empowerment, skill training, child
education, menstrual hygiene, ethical
employment, and much more. The challenge
was to build a presence that could spread
awareness, attract volunteers and partners,
and engage both artisan communities and
wider
supporters.
Idea
We redesigned their entire digital presence, starting with
a 50+ page website that was built from scratch to be
informative, impactful, and human-first. On social media,
we crafted content that brought real artisan
stories to the
forefront, through high-retention reels, interviews,
carousels, and statics. We led on-ground photo and video
shoots with the women at SETU’s training centers to
capture honest, emotional moments.
Beyond digital, we
also designed branding elements like calendars, posters,
and pamphlets to support SETU’s outreach. The goal
across all touchpoints was to reflect the heart of SETU’s
mission and invite people
to be part of their journey in a
meaningful way.
